Owner Spotlight: Claudio Rupa
I’m Claudio Rupa, a mortgage broker in Vaughan, ON.
Four years ago, I ventured into the mortgage world to help people in the same manner that my mortgage broker helped me. Mortgages weren’t my forte, but while looking for a mortgage myself, I gained a copious amount of knowledge. This impressed my mortgage broker at the time, who suggested that I take up a career as a mortgage broker.
Four years later, I am thrilled that I have been able to help a large number of clients fulfill their dreams of homeownership and, in some cases, even keep their homes.
Back when I started, my biggest challenge was convincing people that I could help them. Having switched over from the construction industry, people doubted that I could not help them and didn’t trust me. However, once I was able to help my first batch of clients improve their overall financial outlook, I started making believers in everybody.
While it has been only four years, I believe that my ability to build lasting relationships along with my perseverance, dedication and work ethic have helped me knock on the doors of success. Another aspect that has worked in my favor is my desire to listen to my clients’ needs and come up with a strategy to get them to where they want to be.
I have come to realize that often, clients do not realize the financial potential they have and showing them and guiding them along the way is immensely rewarding. Therefore, I choose to be a life-long partner in my clients’ lives and would like to work with my clients year over year in getting them to where they want to be.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
